Am4 -> Am5

I've been thinking of upgrading my whole system to am5, I don't have any real issues with my current set up, but as always with PCs, there's an itch to always have something better.

I do have 2 concerns before going through with the upgrade,

1 is my drives, specially my windows drive. Do I have to wipe and reinstall windows on it? I'm assuming that drivers and what not would clash since drivers that worked for the am4 platform would still remain in the drive.

Second is my CPU cooler, I have a thermalright peerless assassin, and it's honestly amazing value for the price, but the thing is I threw away the box and the other components needed for other platforms like am5. Am I just screw and have to buy a new CPU cooler with the mounting brackets?
