NYC Male Cna worth it?

Im thinking of taking pre requisites for nursing at LaGuardia community college slowly. I haven't started yet but I'm thinking of first going to Genesis Medical Training Center. I have concerns how are males treated in this field? More importantly how hard is it to find a gna job in nyc right now?
