[Nintendo?][Early 2000s] Horror game, in a sevage/dungeon?, muscular humanoid scaly monsters, first person with a deformed hand wearing clawed brass knuckle?

The game intro started with a lot of gunshots, gurgling sounds and jungle music. I remember there was maybe tropical trees, dark jungle going on with a green lizard making angry gurgling noises and shooting with a gun.

Then comes the cutscene in an ominous, dim, sci-fi place where a pale purple alien woman talks to a manly guy in a calm but muffled voice (I have no idea what she said I couldn't speak English yet) while it changes into scenes of blue beaming lazer machines and some humanoid scaly and muscular monsters killing crowds of people.

And then the game throws you in with no tutorial and I don't think the map was intuitive on how you should progress it. I remember it being like a sevage- and dungeon-like maze with bridges and ramps. And you get attacked by scaly monsters on the way that you can fight. You start with a deformed fingerless hand wearing a 2-fanged DIY brass brace as a weapon to punch the monsters with, I think? And you get more arsenal as you go find them around the map.

I didn't know where you're suppose to go, I just sort of wandered, collect stuff and fought monsters or got killed, and sometimes find cages with people in it. I never got any further than that.

Please help me find this game, I would like to finish this after growing up because I played this when I was way too young to even comprehend what's going on, and it scared me shitless that I barely made much progress. It's like a fever dream that I can only remember it vaguely.
