Viltrox 35mm 1.7 Nikon Z50 II ISSUE

I recently picked up a Z50ii and have been using it with the Viltrox 35mm 1.7. I just realized that manual focus does not work. My lens is using firmware 1.04 and I just updated the camera to 1.02 and the issue persists. Anyone else dealing with this?
