Local government elections are coming up: are you paying attention?

Candidates for council are now up in all areas. You can find yours by searching "[your council name] elections".

Often the candidate statements make it hard to differentiate between people. Apart from the overt Nazis, almost everyone basically says they're a local who loves trees and safety.

Some areas have great locals who send out candidate surveys or set up websites to track candidate positions. Anything cool like this happening in your area?

Have you emailed or otherwise contacted candidates yourself? How did it go?
