Has anyone managed to successfully spin off an @Outlook alias?

Hi,

If possible, I would like to make an existing @outlook.com alias into its own primary account. I have read from a MS support site that deleting an alias prevents it from ever being reused again so I know my chances are pretty much close to zero but thought I would try my luck here in the hopes that someone here managed to figure out a way around it.

Thanks in advance for your time, tips and help!
