Am I qualified to give lessons?

I’ve played music my whole life (mostly brass) and have taken formal piano lessons for about 5 years.

I’m pretty intermediate - recently completed a few books of sonatinas with my teacher who is a phd level pianist.

Some friends have approached me about giving them piano lessons. I feel as though I could certainly get someone started, but I also feel like I’m not a “real” piano player yet.

Do you feel as though I’d be qualified to give beginner lessons?
