Idk why but I’m pretty interested in the designs of the Professors of the Pokemon games. I like that how they look is very diverse and sort of realistic

Oak: He’s the definitive professor that set the standard, just an old guy who likes to study Pokemon which is what i like about it. His design is simple but effective

Elm: Pretty thin and nerdier looking, the artwork portrays him as a bit of a busy guy, his design makes him look more tech savvy

Birch: He looks like a geeky middle aged dad professor. The sandals while running is funny and he’s a little bit bigger.

Rowan: He gives off this “stoic old man but is very knowledgeable” vibes. I actually like his design a lot and for whatever reason i get the feeling that guy has some hidden past

Juniper: She is the first woman professor and I personally like her design a lot, she dresses a bit more casual with the sneakers and skirt and she feels a lot more energetic, but is also very smart

Sycamore: His design also kind of gives off dorky dad energy to me, in the artwork he looks very confident like he really loves his job and enjoys learning and teaching Pokemon.

Kukui: His design is very different than the others but given the vibe of his setting, it really fits, he looks the most casual of all of them but he also looks like he really enjoys study pokemon moves

Burnet: Don’t really have much on her but i always loved the “dark skin light hair” design trope

Magnolia: She definitely looks like the oldest professor (don’t get me wrong she’s still stunning). From the artwork it looks like she knows everything that needs to be known and she’s ready to retire lol. I like her cane too

Sonia: The youngest professor, i count her because she becomes one after Magnolia. She looks like a bubbly and confident college grad. Her hair looks amazing

Laventon: I’ll be honest, he’s definitely my least favorite of them… i’m not a fan of the weird hat and creepy eyes. But he does look nerdy

Sada and Turo: Their designs really lean into the themes of their game with the past and future. I really like Sada with the cavewoman fit and her hair looks cool. Turo has that kinda odd looking futuristic jumpsuit with the coat but he reminds me of the gigachad meme
