ADHD Metaphors
I am reading “Your Brains Not Broken” by Tamara Rosier as recommended by my therapist.
Without giving too much away, the book explains how everyone with ADHD associates their ADHD with a metaphor, which can help you regulate how you get through life.
I have been struggling to find the right metaphor. The closest I can think of is Drop Dead Fred. Drop Dead Fred is my ADHD and I am Lizzy.
Fred constantly causes distractions and Lizzy is always blamed for his actions.
What is your metaphor? How would you describe your ADHD?
