Megathread leads to weird ads?

Hey you guys does anyone else get this? I open the megathread, if I click anywhere or on any link, another window opens up, artigen, skins for all etc. Why is this happening? Is something wrong with the thread? Should I still be using it? Did the mods try to monetize it to make some money on the side?

I wanna know if its safe. Thanks!
