Cialis sounds too good to be true, is it?

Erectile Dysfunction

My husband and I are in our early 50s, he started experiencing some ED within a week of being prescribed a medication that he has since stopped taking. After that happened, it seems like he has no issues performing some times, and other times he loses it halfway through. The unsuccessful times have led to considerable distress on his part and I feel like it’s led to this happening even more frequently now. Not sure whether that is physical or psychological, or both?

Viagra however has worked amazingly well 100 percent of the times he’s taken it. But it affects spontaneity for both of us

Cialis actually sounds like it has many health benefits beyond just treating ED, like possibly preventing heart disease, dementia, and certain prostate issues

I don’t want to suggest he take something that could cause any serious side effects, have most people done ok with Cialis? I’m somewhat surprised his doctor didn’t recommend it when my husband has had two consultations about the ED. In fact, what prevents more doctors in general from recommending it for men over a certain age? It seems like they hand out statins like candy but hold back on the ED meds and I’m just wondering if we are missing something here that we should be worried about
