Help (The Nicene Creed versus Exodus 4:22)

The Nicene Creed refers to Jesus as the Only Begotten son of God.

And

Exodus 4:22

[22]And thou shalt say to him: Thus saith the Lord: Israel is my son, my firstborn.

I am not sure how to understand these two things together coherently. Please help if you have any insight
