Can we send the DSS to Fori Prime and stop the attacks on Crimsica and Garcrux

New Xbox diver joining in and I've noticed we just got the DSS's Orbital Blockade action available. If we can send it to Fori Prime, we end both attacks don't we? I know it's a community vote for where the DSS goes but I don't really have an understanding of how it picks the planets the community votes to go to... are we able to send it into the Gloom a touch to stop the Terminids?
