Finished OT . hot damn, ROTJ was bad . still, the only star wars movie that made me cry

3rd movie has its highs, for sure. perhaps some of the best scenes out of all movies.

still, whether it can redeem the rest is uncertain. so many cheesy scenes, bad acting (especially ford) .

many scenes feel like they were made for 3yo. I understand that it has to appeal to younger audiences, but I think the other movies did it much better, bringing a better compromise on the table. this one however felt painful to watch at times.

plot holes and incoherences , too.

would have been enclined to say it's Lawrence Kasdan, but he wrote the best star wars movie (TESB) according to many.
