Can we make full damage supports viable like they are in LoL ?

I love me some tanky supports that have tons of engage and peel but I think it would be cool for full damage mages/assassins to be good in support as well

The only way I see this ever happening is if they make items that have damage with good passives but for them to work they need to only give stats when you have the least amount of gold because they need to be cheap to stop others from building those items there needs to be a caveat
