Villa Assets

Just curious what everyone who still has Villa assets is planning to do with them. They’re entering the easiest part of their schedule, but it’s getting hard to keep them given how awful they’ve been. Plus, I don’t think @Sunderland is as easy as it originally looked. And, on top of everything else, they’re going to start their European campaign.

I currently have a double of Watkins and Rogers, but thinking of losing one since they’ve been so bad. Only problem is I don’t know which to bin and who I should move to. I’m planning to WC in 8, so I’m just looking at 5-7.

Midfielders for Rogers:

Mbuemo (8.1) - should be the focus of Man United’s attack with Cunha out. However, he faces Chelsea in 5 when Rogers has Sunderland. Could bring in for GW6 when he has Brentford, then hosting Sunderland in 7.

Semenyo (7.4) - feels kneejerky, plus his next game is against Newcastle. But he also looks talismanic for Bournemouth and could score against anyone.

Xavi Simons (7.0) - got an assist in his first game and good schedule, but I already have Kudus in my team and not sure double Tottenham mids is best.

Jack Grealish (6.8) or Dewsbury-Hall (5.0) - wouldn’t do it for GW5 when they play Liverpool, but home vs. West Ham and Crystal Palace in 6&7 are decent. Plus, saving money could allow me to go Wirtz -> Saka in GW7 if Saka is healthy by then to get an Arsenal asset vs. West Ham.

Forwards for Watkins:

Haaland (14.1) - I’m 4m away from him, so I’d more than likely have to take a hit if I wanted to bring him in for Burnley in GW6 (sadly even Wirtz to King leaves me 0.1 short, so I’d have to either clear cap in two spots or downgrade Salah).

Gyokeres (9.0) - two tough games next, so I can’t see getting rid of Watkins for him now. I’d consider bringing him in for GW7, but I might as well save that transfer and pray Watkins does something against Burnley.

Honestly, no idea where else to go at forward. I’m worried about Isak and Ekitike’s minutes once Isak is back up to speed and I’m 0.3 short of Isak anyway. Nobody else’s schedule looks that great. I already have Wood for 5&6, and could upgrade him to Gyokeres for 7 if I save money elsewhere.

Ultimately, what are you all planning to do with Villa players?
