How do you drive conversation in the comments section?

Curious what strategies others have had work. I'm in the education niche (create mostly long form exam prep material for medical students) and I've tried requesting comments for feedback on how to improve videos and asking questions at the end of videos with the answers pinned in the comments with little success. What's worked for you?
