On Kat and Adam drinking together

[DRAMA]

I have a couple notes about the “underage”drinking thing (not that it absolves Kat of anything significant as far as the lawsuit is concerned). I used to work at a Hilton hotel in Atlanta where the minimum age to reserve a room was 21. Idk what hotel they were at, but this is very common. Therefore, we never checked ID for any alcohol service to a room. The rooms are considered a private setting so we have no business as employees inquiring if a minor is drinking in there.

Secondly, Adam is a citizen of Ireland, where legal drinking age is 18. That is standard across Europe, where beer and wine can be purchased as young as 16. In the USA, it’s not illegal for an adult to drink alcohol in private, they just can’t purchase it or be in possession of it in public.

I don’t see anything weird about two legal adults drinking privately together, unless an age difference would make it weird regardless.
