Best way to get wallpaper off the wall?

I’m removing a strip on top of the wall by the ceiling tile so I can paint. It’s proving to be a total pain in the ass. I have one of those one gallon jug/ sprayers and I’m soaking it with water and using a scraper to start the peel. Am I doing it right and it’s really just this tedious and terrible? lol any tips would be great thank you
