Starting sertraline and quetiapine for OCD – feeling scared

Hi everyone, I’ve just been prescribed sertraline and quetiapine (for sleep) after getting an OCD diagnosis with increased rumination. My doctor told me to start tomorrow, but honestly I feel really scared.

My OCD has been getting harder and harder to cope with, but at the same time I’m very anxious about possible side effects from these meds.

Has anyone here taken sertraline (with or without quetiapine) for OCD and found it helpful? I would love to hear your experiences — success stories, what the adjustment period was like, or anything encouraging that might give me the courage to start.
