This will be a *solo Beatles fan album*, an “if they never broke up” album. For these albums, I compile solo Beatles material by year. This fan album will cover 1972.

Ground Rules

* 14 tracks - like Beatles UK albums
* 4/4/4/2 (explain)
* Can’t go forward, can go back
* Alternate guys

Across these 14 tracks, several themes emerge. Domesticity and intimacy run through Paul’s “Eat at Home” and “Heart of the Country,” balancing John’s soul-baring self-examination in “I Found Out” and “How?” George’s spirituality shines in “Awaiting on You All” and “Behind That Locked Door,” while Ringo’s country stylings in “Beaucoups of Blues” and “Coochy Coochy” offer warmth and levity.

Some of the tracks include:

I Found Out - John’s biting vocal exposes his disdain for gurus, false prophets, and even the myth of the Beatles.

# The Back Seat of My Car - One of Paul’s most ambitious Ram productions, this song’s optimism acts as a counterweight to John’s skeptical tones.

# Run of the Mill - This song addresses fractured relationships, widely interpreted as George’s commentary on the Beatles' tensions.

# Beaucoups Of Blues - Ringo with a pure Nashville country performance. Backed by some of the best session players of the era.
