Rtx 3060 a safe option till 2030? Or should I go for 5050 or 5060?

Help

Hey, I urgently need a new pc, and I strictly prefer newer components over second hand ones because of too many online scams in my country.

I’m in a tight budget, and because of that I can only go for an AM4 platform - unless I can go for intel i5 12th gen but I have heard h610m isn’t a reliable motherboard. Let me know if that’s a better alternative.

I’ll be needing to use this pc for at least 4-5 years; and mainly want it for light/medium 1080p gaming (with some big AAA in the coming years), art software, and basic computing.

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600T (6C/12T, up to 4.5 GHz) • Motherboard: MSI B450M A Pro Max II (DDR4) • RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3200MHz (2x16GB) • GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ventus 2X OC 12GB • SSD: WD Blue 1TB SN5000 Gen4 NVMe • Power Supply: 550W 80+ Bronze Non-Modular • CPU Cooler: Deepcool AG400 WH ARGB • Case: Ant Esports Elite 1100 • WiFi: PCI-E WiFi Card (Dual Band + Bluetooth 4.2)

Total cost - ~70k (including the shipping charges from the site I’m ordering from)

I know it sucks to go for ‘outdated components’, but I currently have a laptop that is barely clinging onto life. So anything would be a huge upgrade for me.

I wanted to go for rtx 5000 series, and keeping aside the low vram it has, I’ll be required to spend more on better cpu and mobo because of its pci 5.0 requirements. If that’s not necessary, how would an rtx 5050 sound over 3060? Can I replace 3060 with a 5050 (or 5060) in the current build, and it will still function properly?

Thank you!
