Controller Recommendations for Gaming on OnePlus Pad 3

As mentioned in the title, I'm looking for controller recommendations to play mainly retro (DOS and console), indie, mobile and a few AAA titles on my OnePlus Pad 3. Any help and advice provided would truly be appreciated. Thanks!
