Can Lux love you after giving him the sass candy?

Hi! I've been trying to figure this out on my own but I cant find anything so I figured this is my best bet. Do my SPECS point need to be at a certain level for this and if they do, what do they need to be at? I'm trying to do a 100% love route and if I can only stay friends with Lux that would suck cause I'm already a good chunk into the run :/
