HypERtension POTS advice?

Question

So, I've recently been diagnosed by my GP who has also referred me to a cardiologist.

I have the hypertension form of POTS, my blood pressure gets way too high whenever I stand up (160/100) ánd my heartrate spikes >30bpm higher in the first minute already. I also seem to have IST which basically means my heartrate is often over 100bpm while at rest, also sitting or laying down.

My GP didn't have any advice on how to deal with this aside from the cardiologist and knee high compression socks. I read a lot about salt and electrolytes but i aasume this is only beneficial if your blood pressure is too low?

Any other advice, tips n tricks? TIA! :)
