Long distance gf possibly lost her cat

She was away from home for 1 day and since coming back she cant find one of her cats. What do I do? I really want to help her somehow but Im literally 200 km away from her and she really cant find it in her apartment. Thing is im asking if I should give her space, or give her ideas of where to look or idk
