Is staying in Asakusabashi safe and easy to navigate for tourists?
Hi, I'm going to Tokyo pretty last minute and there aren't many hotel options left near Yamanote line stations.
I found this hotel at a great price: HOTEL ALL IN TOKYO ASAKUSABASHI
It's a few mins walking to Asakusabashi station and around 10mins walk to Akihabara. It's not as near to a Yamanote line station as I would like.
I've heard places like Ueno can be a bit rough and also rather far.
There isn't much information about the Asakusabashi area online so I was wondering the following:
- Is it safe at night?
- Is the Asakusabashi station well-connected to other stations for tourist spots? (What websites/apps are good for navigating around Japan?)
- If anyone has any other information about the area.
- Will not being near the Yamanote line cause longer travel journeys?
Thanks!
