Opinion on RN214 – 4 BAY Desktop ReadyNAS Storage

Hi everyone,

I have the possibility to buy a second hand RN214 – 4 BAY Desktop ReadyNAS Storage with 4 x 3TB.

I'm still waiting for some details on the drives, the NAS himself seems in good condition.

I mostly want to use it for storage, playing some media via Jellyfin or Plex (no big transcoding, mostly everything in 1080p).

Cherry's on the cake, I would like if possible run some docker (maybe like Immich, NPM...)...

What do you think of the device himself? A little bit old, so I'm a little bit scare of a power supply issue...

The drives can be replace by new ones so it's not really an issue.

Waiting for more details, but I proposed a first price of 250AUD.

Thanks for your insights.
