My wedding is in 15 days and my grandmother is not doing well.

My grandmother was moved to hospice care about a month ago. She is in the later stages of dementia for a while, but the past few days have been very rough.

My family decided it’s in our best interest to start seeing her as often as we can since it’s likely she doesn’t have much time left.

Tonight I went to visit her, and it’s just not looking good. I’m terrified she’s going to pass away right before my wedding. I’m especially worried for my mom, having to carry the weight of being mother of the bride while grieving the very recent loss of her own mother.

All I can do is remain hopeful, visit my grandma as much as I can, and take up all the time I can with her.
