My husband doesn’t want phone bills together

My husband M26 and I (F26) have been married almost 2 years now. He recently started a new job/business venture and has been tight on funds due to recent house purchase and etc. I’ve offered help on some small bills and other things and he accepts without a hesitation. I also work for a phone carrier so on my phone bill I received 75% off. I’ve offered to also switch his lines to mine, but he declines and until now he cannot provide a good reason why. I understand he has free will but if this will save him almost $150 monthly, am I just the crazy one. I told him it does not sit right with me and he claims I am just being controlling. He says I always just think negatively.
