Brio Moderna Water Dispenser

I bought one of those Brio Moderna Water Dispensers that creates ice and it tastes very soapy. I contacted their customer service and they told me to drain the water and do a flush with a vinegar solution. Has anyone else had this issue and done the flush with success?

Or, does anyone have any suggestions to get the water to stop tasting soapy.

To note, I have checked to make sure the 5 gallon jugs I use are not the issue. (they are not)
