Having a hard time getting my Arturia Drumbrute up and running in bitwig.

Hey guys, I just got a Drumbrute Impact that's giving me some serious grief at the moment.

I'm able to get Bitwig to recognize it as a USB connected item, and it seems that the play/stop/record buttons on the device will control the play/stop buttons in bitwig when the Drumbrute is connected. Furthermore, bitwig recognizes it as a track midi option and will seemingly record midi data FROM the drumbrute, but for whatever reason the Drumbrute will not play the midi data back when I feed it back into the device as an output from the track (I'm using the same method I'd normally use to send MIDI piano roll data from the DAW into my Polybrute and it's never given me any grief.) Also the internal tempo in the Drumbrute won't sync to Bitwig or vice versa no matter what I do. Using the sync to midi button also seems to disable the internal sequencer for some reason.

So far the only way this thing is seemingly usable with Bitwig at all is to just run pure audio input using the internal clock, and time align my recorded tracks to the grid after the fact. This is totally doable and seems to be the only way to use the onboard sequencer, but boy is it a pain.

The Arturia midi control center doesn't seem to be any use on the subject, and the owner's manual doesn't seem to cover how to troubleshoot any of this. Anyone have any advice?
