Was Jesus really humble?

Why do Christians claim that Jesus was so humble?

Claiming to be the Son of God, to be the only way to God, to be seated at the right hand of God, to have existed before Abraham, to die for all our sins...

Is this really something a humble person would say? Sounds egotistical to me.
