Ancient Basin Map Nonexistent

Hi! So I have explored all of the Ancient Basin and come across Cornifer. I was not able to buy the map but when I went back to get it I am unable to get it from Cornifer AND it is not available at any of the shops in Dirtmouth. I tried verifying the integrity of the game on Steam a few ties and it did not fix the glitch. I also tried editing the text in the save file to change the mapAncientBasin to "true" but the map text for it didn't even exist, so I added the text line in between some other maps, and it still is not working!!! Is there anyway to fix this?! Does the map coding text line need to be in a specific line in the save file for it to work or wtf is happening?
