Engine just died while braking for a corner.

I was in the middle of the turn and the engine just died. Got it straighten up and put it in neutral while still coasting along and turned the key and it fired right up again. I was just about to where I was going and went ahead and pulled into the driveway. I was there for a few hours. When I left it fired right up and drove 30 minutes home, and it never did it again. It's a 2010 model with 85k on it. It rarely gets drives anymore. Maybe once every couple months. Any ideas on what could cause that? Had a new battery a few months ago and it is kept on a tender in the garage. Thanks for any input.
