Where to get my car's tape deck serviced? Looking to get cassette player belts replaced
Hey everyone.
So I own an old car, and it still has the original FM/AM radio and cassette tape deck. I love it and would hate to see it torn out and replaced with an aftermarket Bluetooth radio. Unfortunately the tape deck has finally crapped out, as it keeps spitting my tapes out (tape error). That typically means it just needs new belts and I'm looking to get them replaced. Does anyone know of any places I can get it serviced? Would a mechanic be able to do this? Or would I have to go to a place that specializes in car audio? If yes, would you know of any places that would actually work on a 30 year old tape deck? somewhere where they wouldn't upsell me on an aftermarket Bluetooth radio?
Any helps is great, thanks.
p.s. hope everyone is enjoying the early fall weather, its nice out there :)
