Does evernight need spd subs in a team with castorice?

So I am going to get evernight e2 so I can use her in both my castorice team and so I can split those 2 up in easier content like moc or knights for Anomaly Arbitration because currently castorice is my only e2 unit I have. Since I will mostly use her with castorice does evernight need spd subs to charge castorice faster or is it better to have her at base spd and rely on her passive instead or rolling for spd subs? Because I have seen most people saying that you want evernight at base spd for hypercarry march but not sure about sub dps march.
