Appraiser- “what have you brought in for me today?”

Old lady- “well I used to live in New York for about 15 years.. and I had found this box hidden away inside a hidden compartment in one of the rooms I used to rent out in Manhattan. I don’t know what to make of it, it looks like some sort of collection of drops of blood.. I always get the creeps from this but I wasn’t sure if it was worth anything”

Appraiser- “yeah that’s very interesting, around the year 2028 NYPD allegedly had found evidence that they had caught the most infamous serial killer in recorded history. His name was Dexter Morgan, he had a very complicated and complex history so I won’t go into that too much. But what we do know about him is he liked to keep slides blood of his victims, without testing the blood I won’t be able to know for sure.. but if this is the Bay Harbor Butcher’s original blood slide box it could be worth a lot of money. He also was said to have had a new blood slide trophy collection he made for his time in New York.. now if this happens to be his New York collection of trophies that would also be worth a fortune”

Old lady- “wow, that is astonishing. It explains the creeps it gave me whenever I found it but I had no idea about this Dexter person. Do you have any idea what the value of this is… if we were able to authenticate it?”

Appraiser- “well if the contents of the blood slides are tested and verified as actual victims of the Bay Harbor Butcher, I’m afraid the FBI would come in and take them immediately without giving you any compensation. Unfortunately you would also probably be interviewed and questioned by the FBI just because of the circumstances of this happening in one of the properties you rented out… actually my producers are in my ear right now telling me that the authorities are on their way now. So we’ll have to let them take this and ask you some questions… but thank you for this incredible story and thanks for bringing this in today”
