A poem about writing poems
A poem about writing poems
Once upon a time
In a world full of rhyme
I made a poem
With the jumbled words of mine
I walk on a thin path
Only with grief and wrath
I tumbled and fell
Sometimes in holes or sometimes in hell
No light to be seen
The poem was thin
Since I lost so much vocabulary
When I fought the demon of memory
I walked, rested and then walked again
I got lost so many times in this mind game
Hopeful about my own creation of line string
I felt like birthing the spring
Flower wreath on my head
As I joyfully read
The poetry I created
With my heart instead
