Setup Advice

Hello,

I know there are billions of similar questions on here and I have been combining through all the information. However, each situation seems a little unique.

My partner's birthday is coming up and I am pretty much settled on the Fluance RT82. Also, I have a pair of 6 ohm passive Teac speakers which are kind of junk but I will upgrade them later on down the road. I know this may be a bottle kneck at the start. I understand that I need a phono pre amp and an amplifier or a receiver with both.

My question is at a $650 budget for the record player, amp / pre amp...or receiver am I better off just going the receiver route with a built in pre amp? I want a path that cost effectively make sense to upgrade a little down the road if she feels like it. Also, I don't think she will ever turn into a real high end audiophile but decent sound would be nice.

I live in a pretty small area so used equipment is very difficult to come by or marked up.

Any suggestions on equipment? I was looking at the fosi X5 if going the pre amp route. Also, I'm trying to keep this as simple, clean, and easy for her to use. Any equipment or set-up recommendations?
