New player question regarding Console

Just got the game on PC and live it, so cool and reminds me of Allied Assult. But, my computer is a trashcan and thinking of getting it on Xbox instead. Is this game more forgiving on controller than for example CoD? Because on console I'm the trashcan instead... is it a game that is a little bit easier to have a decent time on this fking joysticks? Thanks
