Where can I go for general opinions on the results I should ask for?

Mods, I promise I'm not trying to break Rule 1, this is not a general request for a Plastic Surgery menu!

The bottom line is I'm getting medically advised facial reconstruction surgery.

One of my questions was: How much aesthetic control will my doctors have over my outcome?

I was fully prepared to be told "we make it functional and you get what you get."

But the degree of choice I was given was far beyond what I expected- they basically told me to think about what I wanted to look like, and they would aim for it.

Now, I don't want to fall down the rabbit hole of caring about Canthal Tilts or whatever, but I don't know how to quite identify what I want.

Are there subreddits where I can ask for such advice, post pictures, etc. and have people offer opinions about

1. What I look like currently, in descriptive terms
2. What I could ask for, to get the aesthetic I like
3. How to put that into achievable words?

Example:

• Picture of me
• Picture of celebrity I would love to look like
• ...comment from someone kindly explaining that asking for that trait wouldn't suit my features, and instead maybe I can consider showing them pictures of -insert different celebrity here-?

This is the only major head surgery I will hopefully ever get, so I really want the outcome to be something I like, and cost isn't a factor since insurance is covering it...so, help?
