Coach or kate spade purse?

I need some advice on what purse I should buy. The two purses I'm looking at are either a Teri-Shoulder Bag (white) from Coach or a Kayla Small Convertible Shoulder Bag (Meringue) from Kate Spade.

I like the way they both look since they look similar, so I'm wondering which would be better to buy overall? I want the purse to last a long time and be something I can use for many years, but I'm also not the type of person who uses purses every day, and I only use them whenever I go out (I'm 19).
