can't use my RT/LT

has anyone else ran into this issue?.. i cannot use my RT/LT for shooting or aiming in anymore and have had to switch my presets to make it RB/LB now. i know it's fortnite because switching my RT/LT to switch my weapons back and fourth work just fine. and my trigger buttons work on everything else but fortnite. i haven't deleted it and reinstalled it yet to see if it fixes but i wanted to see if anyone else is running into this issue and know an easier fix.
