Communications/PR Professional Seeking New Opportunities (Remote or Hybrid)

I’m currently looking for new opportunities in communications, PR, or marketing and thought I’d reach out here. My background is primarily in nonprofit communications, but my skills are highly transferable across industries. A few highlights:

Media Relations: Served as the main point of contact for press at a large nonprofit, securing placements in outlets like The New York Times, CBS News, CBC, and the Houston Chronicle.

Content Strategy: Managed an editorial calendar and led multi-channel campaigns across social media, email, and web.

Project Management: Oversaw high-visibility projects such as an organizational rebrand, an annual impact report, and major research rollouts — coordinating between designers, researchers, and leadership.

Leadership: Stepped in to lead the communications department independently during a leadership absence, keeping operations moving smoothly.

Storytelling: Passionate about making complex information accessible and building authentic engagement with audiences.

I’m open to remote roles or Houston-based hybrid positions in communications, marketing, or PR (agency or in-house). Salary expectations are in the $68k–$75k range, depending on the role.
