Need help from experienced metal guitarist

So that Is the point: I've bought a squier classic vibe as my first Guitar, bought a Spark mini and a Spark control pedal, I've played with this Gear for One year and a half, After I figure out that Is not my tipe of Guitar since I'm a metalhead, the Guitar itself Is very good but obviously metal require hambucker so I bought a Jackson js22 because I have Little budget,Now I'm bought and house( 75000 euros house so I haven't plenty Money to dedicate to my Gear) I was thinking to mod the js 22 with EMG pickup end gotoh sg38 tuners, maybe later i Will buy a digitech drop tuning pedal, Do I regreat of this Gear? I play stuff like SOAD, metallica, Slipknot and Rammstein, obviously I'm still learning, One year and a half Is Little time....the reason of my js22 choice Is that: Is lightweight, have and aggressive look and a decente sound, butt still remains comfortable in standing position and while sitting.....
