What Will Make this Season a Success for You?

Obviously success can mean different things to different people and can exist on a spectrum. Does last night's loss change anything for you?

IMO conference championships and non-playoff bowl games are all but meaningless so the standard for success also has to change. Personally, making the 12+ team playoffs is the absolute bare minimum of success every season.

After last night I'm starting to feel like OSU fans did after losing to Michigan last year -- that the one and only way to salvage the season is to win the natty. I feel like I'm watching a trifecta of issues unravel everything Kirby's built 1) our program is regressing (lack of leadership, culture issues, retaining bad coaches) 2) other programs are improving and 3) the sport is changing rapidly and we are not adapting well (predictable scheming, questionable use of NIL to brining in elite skills positions). One more loss and I'll be firmly in the natty or bust camp.

I'm not interested in having debates, I just want to know how other people are defining successful seasons this year and going forward.

I'm going to touch grass now.
