childhood book

I cannot find any information online about this book but when I was in kindergarten I read this book and it was about this girl who went on some kind of animal and just explored space. I remember the book being some kind of claymation style and I remember the design of the girl being kind of unique and the animal as well. My school was a fairly poor school so I know we had a lot of scholastic books but I'm not sure if this book was a scholastic book.

please if anyone knows anything or can find the book let me know!!!!!
