I 18M only recently found someone I like romantically 18F, but I’m leaving the country in a month.

I’m an 18 year old who hasn’t been in a relationship since February last year. It’s not been a deliberate choice I just hadn’t found someone who I really liked.

I work in a bar and recently I was introduced by a co worker to a friend of his who I feel very compatible with. We are the same age, share multiple common interests, I find her extremely beautiful and I just feel good when I talk to her.

She just started working at the same bar as me and I’ve never enjoyed my shifts more than the present. Can never be certain but I think the feeling is mutual. Prior to starting work with me, even when we first met and hadn’t spoke I noticed she would be glancing over at me and smiling. Maybe I’m reading too far into things I’m not sure.

The thing that sucks is that I’m leaving in a month. Bought flights months ago and will be away for 4-5 months. I feel like if I tried to go further with things now it wouldn’t last or be maintainable. This is like the only person I’ve even looked at romantically in the over a year since my last relationship.

Do I go for it?
