992.2 Carrera and GTS - Main Cluster Question

Hi everyone,

A quick question out of curiosity. I couldn't really find many videos on this particular screen as shown in the video. But for the brief time at this time stamp you can see another meter to the right of the RPM indicator. It's like an orange bar the fills the right quater of the circle and later it suddenly vanishes.

Can somebody tell me what exactly this determines? Is it when to switch gears? But if so, why doesn't it show anything during the launch control? And can somebody tell me if this screen has any other indicators besides that green and blue meters that likely show the battery on the GTS? Like if I set this on the stock Carrera, is there any rev indication flashing up on this particular screen like on the GT3 clusters?
